Chocolate Ghost

Chocolate Ghost Pepper is a naturally occurring dark-coloured form of the famous Bhut Jolokia, sharing its roots in Northeast India. The long, tapered pods develop a wrinkled surface and mature from green into a deep chocolate brown. Compared with the classic Red Ghost, its flavour leans richer and slightly sweeter, with fruity, earthy and smoky notes coming through before the familiar slow-building Ghost Pepper heat takes over. That burn continues to climb rather than hitting all at once, making this dark Ghost every bit as serious as it looks.
