Red Ghost

Red Ghost / Bhut Jolokia Seeds

Red Ghost Pepper, also known as Bhut Jolokia, is one of the peppers that helped define the modern superhot category. Its elongated, wrinkled pods mature from green to a deep red and carry a surprisingly fruity, slightly smoky flavour beneath the heat. Unlike peppers that hit immediately, the Ghost is famous for a slower-building burn that continues to intensify after the first bite. Originally from Northeast India, it made history in 2007 when it was recognized as the world’s hottest pepper and became the first widely recognized variety to break the ONE-MILLION SHU barrier.
