Thunder Cacho Brown

Thunder Cacho Brown Pepper Seeds

Thunder Cacho Brown is a long, slender pepper with twisting, curled pods that can stretch well beyond the length of a typical cayenne. The fruit ripens from green to a rich reddish-brown and has a surprisingly sweet, fruity flavour with earthy and lightly smoky notes. Developed by Danish grower Jes Christiansen from a cross between Thunder Mountain Longhorn and Cacho Negro, it combines the extreme length of one parent with the darker colour and fuller flavour of the other. The heat sits comfortably in the medium range, giving it plenty of kick without overpowering its flavour.
