Tabasco Pepper Seeds

Tabasco Pepper is a small but lively Capsicum frutescens variety with roots in Mexico and a history made famous in Louisiana, where it became the pepper behind TABASCO® Sauce in the 1800s. The plants produce loads of slender, pointed peppers held upright above the foliage, shifting from pale green through yellow and orange before finishing bright red. The pods have a fresh, sharp pepper flavour with a clean, punchy heat that is considerably hotter than the finished bottled sauce most people recognize.
